Announcing New Fall Class and Workshop at the CAA!

Come Paint & Draw with us this Fall  at the Cooperstown Art Association!     Paint the Lake with Doug Jamieson Sunday, October 30th 1pm-5pm $80 Members / $85 Non-Members Join us for a four hour, Step-By-Step Watercolor Studio Workshop taught by artist Doug Jamieson.  He will utilize a photograph, demonstration and a hands on teaching technique beginning with measurement and ending with a finished product.  Regardless of experience each student will come away with a watercolor of Otsego Lake.  For more information on Doug Jamieson and his work, you can visit his website at http://www.dougjamiesonartist.com/ Materials List available or materials provided in class for a fee of $10.       Draw the Head with Doug Jamieson November 3 - December 1 (no class November 24) Thursdays, 10am - 12pm $120 Members / $125 Non-Members Students will learn about the construction of the Human Head through individual instruction, demonstrations, and use of reference photos in this 4 week class.  Your knowledgeable instructor, Doug Jamieson, has published a how-to book for drawing the human figure and in this 4 week class, he will guide you through the process of drawing the head step-by-step!  Materials List: -  Red & Brown Conte Crayons -  Drawing Paper, 11x14 or larger (4+ sheets per class) -  Kneaded Eraser    Please contact the Cooperstown Art Association at (607) 547-9777 to register today!     The Cooperstown Art Association is located at 22 Main Street in Cooperstown, NY in the Village Hall on the corner of Main and Fair Streets.  Gallery Hours:  Daily 11-4.
